Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Postra, an AI workspace that connects to your existing mailbox. By joining the waitlist or using the service, you agree to them.

Postra is not an email host or marketing platform. It is an AI layer on top of your existing mailbox. Sending always happens through your own connected provider.

The service

Postra connects to your existing email account and provides AI features such as inbox summaries, reply drafts, follow-up detection, task extraction, smart search, and priority detection. Postra does not host email, does not provide mailbox hosting, and does not operate an outbound email relay.

Private beta

Postra is currently offered in a private beta and is free during this period. Beta features may change, be limited, or be discontinued, and availability is offered on a first-come, invite basis. Paid plans may be introduced later with advance notice.

Accounts & connections

You are responsible for the mailbox connections you authorize and for keeping your account secure. You must have the right to connect any mailbox you link to Postra.

You may disconnect a mailbox or delete your account at any time, which revokes Postra's access.

Acceptable use

Postra is built for managing your own inbox. You agree not to use it for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate your email provider's terms.

  • ●No bulk email campaigns, cold outreach, newsletters, or spam.
  • ●No attempting to use Postra as an email relay or sending infrastructure.
  • ●No abuse, reverse engineering, or interference with the service.

Sending & providers

Any email sent with Postra's help is transmitted through your own connected provider — such as Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365, or your SMTP server — and is subject to that provider's terms. Postra never sends on your behalf without your explicit action and does not run its own mail servers.

Your content

Your mailbox content remains yours. You grant Postra a limited right to access and process it solely to provide the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your email.

Disclaimers

Postra is provided "as is" during beta, without warranties of any kind. AI-generated summaries, drafts, and tasks may contain errors — always review before acting or sending. To the extent permitted by law, Postra is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as Postra evolves. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions? Contact us.
